Following posts will be recruited in SAIL Bokaro Steel Plant –

OCT Operator-cum-Technician Trainee (S-3) 

1. Chemical – 07
2. Electrical – 35
3. Mechanical – 25
4. Metallurgy – 15
5. Ceramics – 02.

ACT Attendant-cum-Technician Trainee (S-1)

1. Electrician – 14
2. Machinist- 05
3. Welder – 06
4. Fitter – 11
5. Rigger – 06 posts

Educational Qualification Required:

Eligibility for Operator cum technician trainee (OCT) – Diploma in relevant engineering.
For Attendant cum technician trainee (ACT) – ITI Electrician, mechanist, fitter etc courses.

Monthly Salary for Technician Trainee:

Recruited diploma engineers (operator cum technician trainee) will be given monthly salary on the Pay Scale of S3 grade is Rs. 16800/-3%- 24110/-. ITI or attendant cum technician trainee will be paid on the Pay Scale of S1 grade is Rs. 15830/-3%- 22150/- For detailed monthly remuneration and package details, see the official notification. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary. No grade pay will be added.

Age Limit:

Lower Limit = not declared.
Upper Limit = 28 years,
Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of Steel Authority of India Limited. Age will be calculated as per their reference date.
