Here is the official update on Central Railway Apprentice New Notification:

There will be no written exam, online exam, or interview to hire an apprentice on the Central Railway. On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the matriculation (10th of 10+2 mode of examination) and ITI will be considered for the preparation of the final Central Railway Apprentice Merit List. Marks from any subject or group of subjects will not be taken into account. The aggregate of marks in 10th level and the aggregate of ITI marks will be taken together to form the Central Railway Apprentice Merit List . Panel of candidates will be set based on the average marks. Candidates applying for apprenticeship must have a minimum of 50% in Matriculation; otherwise, their application will be rejected.

If any tie occurs between two or more candidates then the date of birth of the candidates will act as the deciding factor or the tie-breaker.
