RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Notification CEN 02/2024 Vacancy Eligibility Criteria Application Form – Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) of Indian Railway has invited online application for Group D Posts from eligible candidates. Recruitment Examination of various Group D posts in RRB will be conducted for Level 1 of 7th pay matrix posts in Different zones or regions of Indian Railways. The RRB Group D Exam will be conducted by Several RRBs. Salary structure

Recruited staffs in Railway Group D posts will be paid monthly salary of in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 18,000 plus other allowances admissible at that time.

Age limits

• Lower Limit = 18 Years
• Upper Limit / Maximum Age Limit for Group D Posts = 31 Years

Age will be calculated as on 1st July 2024.

Candidates should be minimum 18 years and maximum 31 years as on 01.07.24 i.e., candidates must not born earlier than 02.07.87 (UR), 02.07.84 (OBC – Non creamy layer), 02.07.82 (SC / ST) and not later than 01.07.00 (For all categories).

Upper age limit is relaxable as per the norms of Government.

Examination fee

• For General / OBC candidates – Rs 500
• For SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PWDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically backward class – Rs 250

Candidates can apply online through the website www.indianrailways.gov.in. In the application form, candidates must provide their name, date of birth, father’s name, RRB Group D Recruitment mothers name, Aadhaar number, matric roll number. They should read the instructions properly and fill the form. Candidates can pay the application fee through debit card, credit card or net banking. They can also pay it through SBI challan or Post office challan.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2024

Admit Cards for RRB Group D posts in 2024 will be issued to the candidates who applied for the Group D Vacancy against Centralised Employment Notification no. CEN 02/2024 issued on the 10th of February 2024 by the Railway Recruitment Board on behalf of the Government of India – Ministry of Railways.

The Railway Recruitment Board will issue the e-Admit Card / e-Call Ticket for the selection of Level-1 posts of 7th CPC Pay Matrix, 10 days prior to the commencement of the examination. For each stage of the RRB Group D Recruitment process, namely Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Document Verification – separate Admit Card will be issued. The probable date for the commencement of the CBT will be April / May 2024. The Admit Cards will be uploaded to the website of Railway Recruitment Board as mentioned above and apart from it, the Admits will also be sent to the personal email ID of the applicants.

• The applicants will be required to download the RRB Level-1 posts of Admit Card or Hall Ticket and take a print of it.
• The printed copy must be carried to the examination centre on the day of the commencement of the test as none will be allowed to appear for the test without the possession of the RRB Admit Card.
• No Admit Cards will be sent by post.

It should be noted in this regard that the issuing of the Admit Card by the Railway Recruitment Board for the post of Level-1 7th CPC Pay Matrix will be on the provisional basis and it will not convey that the candidates have fulfilled all the eligibility criteria set by the board under the Ministry of Railway. It is to be checked by the RRB Group D Recruitment authority in due course of time. The date of issuing the Admit Card will be declared in the website of RRB, so the applicants need to keep an eye on the official web portal from time to time.

Important dates of the recruitment of Level-1 posts of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in Indian Railways 2024 :

• Starting date of online application : 12.02.2024
• Closing date of online application : 12.03.2024 (23.59 pm)
• Date of downloading the Call Letter : 10 days prior to the test

RRB Group D Result 2024

After the exam is conducted in April / May 2024, Group D Result will be published by the authoity. How Railway Group D Merit List will be prepared

Before we proceed to the result section of the post, we must know that how the Indian Railways will prepare the merit list for the Group D Posts in 2024. To answer the questions, we can say quoting the information from Advertisement Notification that the Railway Recruitment Board of India will prepare the Merit list for the Level-1 post based on performance of the candidates in –

1. Computer Based Test (CBT) and
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

a) Those who will obtain good score in the CBT will be shortlisted for the PET round.
This Computer Based Test will be MCQ based and consist of questions on Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science and General Awareness on Current Affairs. About 2 times community wise the total number of seats, will be called for the PET. The Marks will be normalised in this respect while preparing the RRB Merit list.

b) Thereafter the candidates getting successful in the Physical Efficiency Test conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board of India, will be called for the Verification of the Documents.

The shortlisted candidates are ought to be present on that day before the RRB Group D Recruitment authority of the Indian Railways along with the required valid documents in support of their claims made in the online application. Those remaining absent on that day or failing to produce valid documents before the Railway Recruitment Board will be terminated from the further process of recruitment.

So, the final Merit list will be made considering the total marks obtained by the candidates in the CBT and their bagging clean chit in the PET and Document Verification. RRB Group D Cut Off Marks

The qualifying marks of the Computer Based Test as declared by the Railway Recruitment Board is 40% for the General category and 30% for the Reserved category candidates. Cut Off Marks for the CBT Online Test Stage 1 will be determined by the board. Previous years cut off marks may be available on the official portal if they upload it. Below we are presenting the minimum qualifying marks for the Railway Recruitment Board Group D Recruitment Exam 2024. Final CBT Online Test cut off marks for SC ST OBC General Candidates may be available after the completion of the exam or after the releasing of the result.
