PSTET Result 2023 Punjab:
Preparation of the Merit list of Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test for the posts of PRT and TGT 2023: The Merit list for the posts of Trained Primary Teacher (PRT for class I-V) and Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT for class VI-VIII) will be formed on the basis of the marks acquired by the PSTET Result 2023 candidates in the MCQ based written test. The candidates intending appear for the PRT post must give the Paper-I examination that will contain total 150 marks and questions will be asked from Child Development and Pedagogy, language-I and Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Science.
Each of the part will bear 30 marks. The candidates intending to become the teacher of class VI-VIII must appear for the Paper-II test which will bear 150 marks too and apart from the 3 common papers of Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I and Language-II, the science teachers are needed to appear for the Mathematics and Science paper examination and others need to answer the questions on Social Studies. The test of both the papers will be conducted on the same day. The question will be bilingual.
Punjab TET Result 2023 Paper 1 Paper 2:
This is to be noted in this regard that appearing in the Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test and qualifying in it will not provide any right to the candidates for the appointment of PRT / TGT. The successful candidates of this test will be issued with PSTET qualifying certificate and it will make them eligible to apply for the post of teacher in the Government, Local Body, Government aided and Unaided schools around the state of Punjab.
The final PSTET Result 2023 of Punjab State Teachers Eligibility Test will be published in the web portal of the PSTET : www.tetpunjab.com and the candidates will be able to check it from there putting their roll number and other relevant details.
Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test Cut Off Marks 2023:
Qualifying Marks of Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test for the posts of PRT and TGT 2023: The cut off marks for PSTET as per the norms of National Council for Teacher Education is 60%. The candidates scoring 60% or above this marks will be regarded to be successful and offered with the certificate.
