Details of the post and vacancy:
Following posts will be recruited in Punjab Irrigation Department –
Junior Engineer (JE civil) – 296 posts,
Junior Engineer (JE mechanical) – 61 posts,
Junior Engineer (JE Electrical) – 16 posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Junior Engineer posts – Minimum eligibility criteria for the posts is Diploma in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Monthly Salary for JE Punjab Irrigation Department:
Recruited staffs will be given monthly salary on the pay band consisting of Basic Pay : Rs. 10,300 – 34,800 and Grade Pay: Rs 4,800. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit & Upper Limit for the posts of JE will be notified later when the detailed notification advertisement is published.
Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of Govt of Punjab. Age will be calculated as per their reference date.
