Junior Engineer (JE) Lineman Vacancy in PSTCL Punjab
Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited or PSTCL has released official recruitment notification for various executive and non-executive posts for the year 2024. The vacancy for the latest PSTCL Punjab recruitment 2024 is 519 posts. Junior Engineer (JE), Lineman, assistant lineman and other posts are there for the PSTCL Recruitment drive. Diploma in Electronics, Civil, IT, Electrical and ITI candidates also are eligible to apply for the posts. Other graduates can also apply for the different posts in PSTCL 2024 (PSEB).

Following posts in PSTCL will be recruited –
Assistant Manager/ IT – 2,
Junior Engineer/ Electrical – 100,
Junior Engineer/ IT – 6,
Junior Engineer/ Communication – 8,
Junior Engineer/ Civil – 40,
Divisional Accountant – 6,
Addl. Sub Station Operator/ Sub Station Attendant – 95,
Lineman – 129,
Assistant Lineman – 100,
Telephone Mechanic – 6,
Office Assistant (Accounts)/ UDC (Accounts) – 27 posts.
Vacancy will be reserved for the SC ST OBC ex-serviceman and other candidates also. Category wise vacancy break up list has been given on original advertisement.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for PSTCL engineer, manager, lineman posts – candidates who have done diploma / engineering in Civil, IT, Electronics, Electrical can apply for the JE post.
For lineman & assistant lineman posts – ITI is required in relevant field.

Salary Structure:
Recruited engineers JE, managers, lineman etc posts will be given different pay scale and grade pay as per their posts. Please see the post wise monthly salary scale as given below –
Assistant Manager IT will be given pay scale of Rs 16,650 – 39,100.
Pay scale for Junior Engineer (JE) – (electrical, electronics & communication or ECE, IT, Civil) will be Rs 10,900 – 34,800.
For lineman and assistant lineman Rs 6,400 – 20,200 is the basic pay scale.
Grade pay and other allowances will also be included in their salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit and Upper Limit for the posts has been given on their official advertisement.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be provided for the reserved category candidates also.
Selection Process / Exam pattern:
Written exam followed by interview. Syllabus for written exam of Junior Engineers (JE), assistant lineman can be downloaded from PSTCL online portal.
