Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for DEO & Clerk Posts – Candidates must have passed Graduation in any subject. They should also possess computer diploma certificate as stated by the PSSSB. Please download the notification (link given at the last of the post).
Salary Structure:
Recruited DEO and Clerks will be paid in the basic pay scale of Rs 10,300 – 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 3,200. Other allowances will also be included in their monthly salary as per govt norms.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 37 years.
Candidates who belong to the reserved community like SC ST OBC Physically Handicapped, will be given relaxation in upper age limit as per the rules of Punjab Govt.
Selection Process:
Written Exam / Interview / Computer knowledge tests may be held for the recruitment in Data Entry Jobs and Clerk posts.
Examination Fee:
Different Examination fee will be collected from candidates depending on their category and they are as follows –
General Candidates – Rs 600,
Other Backward Classes Candidates – Rs 300.
Scheduled Class candidates – Rs 150
Physically Handicapped (PH) Candidates – Rs 100.
