PGCIL Syllabus 2024 Diploma Trainee Electrical & Civil, Junior Trainee Exam Pattern Download PDF Selection Process: PGCIL through the employment advertisement no. WRII/01/2024 dated 05.01.24 has invited recruitment for the post of diploma trainee(Electrical/ Civil) and Junior officer trainee 2024. Candidates can apply online through the website www.powegridindia.com. Date of written exam has not yet announced, it will be announced separately. Selected candidates can be posted anywhere in India and even abroad also. Candidates can apply online from 05.01.24 (10:00 Hrs) to 25.01.24 (23:59 Hrs). PGCIL Diploma Trainee (Electrical/ Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee Examination Pattern
Total 170 marks questions will be there to answers. Exam will be based on written test/ computer based test consisting of two parts –
Part I
Technical/ Professional knowledge test with 120 questions on respective discipline.
Part II
Aptitude test with 50 marks questions on vocabulary, verbal comprehension, quantitative aptitude, reasoning ability, data sufficiency and interpretation, numerical ability etc.
All questions will be of objective type.
For 1 correct answer 1 mark will be given.
0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

PGCIL Diploma Trainee(Electrical/ Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee Examination Qualifying Criteria in Written Test
- For unreserved vacancies minimum 30% in each Part I and II separately and minimum 40% marks in aggregate.
- For reserved vacancies minimum 25% in each Part l and II separately and minimum 30% marks in aggregate.

Candidates should have sound health. No relaxation in health standard is allowed.
Service Agreement for Diploma Trainee (Electrical /Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee
Candidates selected as diploma trainee (Electrical / Civil) and Junior Officer Trainee will undergo training for 1 year and they need to execute a service agreement bond. Details of the amount are given below-
Rs 50,000 for General / OBC
Rs 25,000 for SC/ ST/ PWD
