ONGC (PSU) Recruitment 2024 in Junior & assistant Technician (Electrical, Mechanical) post (Diploma Engineer, Matric)
Hazira Plant of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation or ONGC has notified on their official recruitment advertisement no 1/2024 about the vacancy mentioned above. Hazira Plant is one of the well-renowned plant of this Maharatna Labelled Public Sector Undertaking. ONGC through this recruitment drive has published vacancy for Diploma Engineers and Matric pass govt job aspirants. They have divided the staffs in 2 Level that is A-1 and A-2.
Details of the post and vacancy:
Assistant Technician (Mechanical) – 37 posts,
Assistant Technician (Electrical) – 6 posts,
Junior assistant Technician in Fitting (6), Diesel (7), Electrical (1), Production (9) & Chemistry (8).

Starting of online form fill up – 18-04-2024.
Last date of application submission – 30-04-2024.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for assistant technician – Diploma in relevant discipline (Mechanical, Electrical).
Eligibility for junior technical assistant – Matric with science / B.Sc with chemistry.
Salary Structure:
For A-2 posts the basic pay scale will be Rs 12,000 – 27,000.
A-1 staffs will get paid in the pay band of Rs 11,000 – 24,000. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Age limit will depend on the post you are applying for. Please see the details –
Lower Limit = 18 years.
Upper Limit = 30 years.
Age relaxation will be provided for PwD and SC ST candidates.
Selection Process / Exam pattern:
Written test will be conducted for the recruitment which will consist of 80% Subject related questions and 20% other (like mental ability, gk etc) question. This 2 hours duration test will be of 85 marks and MCQ type questions will come. Final merit list will be prepared based on 100, where other 15 marks will be decided on candidates’ academic qualification and certificates. Exam date for ONGC written test is most probably 22-05-2024 as per their notification (tentative).
