Goa University (GU) Recruitment for Office assistant, Junior Programmer, Laboratory attendant
University of Goa, vide their official advertisement in Official Website, has notified that around 54 staffs will be recruited for various purpose. Among them, Office assistant and various attendant will be recruited. They have also mentioned that the recruitment will be purely Contractual Basis. Candidates will have to work for the contract period. After the particular period is over, they cannot claim about their regular appointment. Details of the post and vacancy:
1) Junior Programmer – 3 posts,
2) Office assistant – 25 posts,
3) Office attendant – 12 posts,
4) Laboratory attendant – 10 posts,
5) Library attendant – 4 posts.

Educational Qualification Required:
Post wise eligibility is given below –
Post no 1 – Graduation in any stream with 1 year diploma in Computer application / BCA / B.tech in Computer Science or IT. Experience of working as software developer is must.
Post no 2 – HSCE pass from recognized institution. Typing speed of 30 / 35 wpm is also required to have for an applicant.
Post no 3 – SSCE or equivalent pass.
Post no 4 – SSC or similar qualification.
Post no 5 – SSCE pass is the minimum educational criteria for the post.
For each and every candidate willing to apply for the above posts, knowledge of Konkani Language is must.
Salary Structure:
Different salary will be given to the staffs according to the posts and they are –
1) Rs 13,500,
2) Rs 7,730.
Rs 7000 for other posts.
It will be consolidated monthly payment.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 42 years.
There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
There will be screening and physical fitness test for the preliminary level.
Written Exam will be conducted next. Those who will be succeed in the written test will have to appear for Teacher aptitude test or Interview (will be decided later).
