Odisha Police Constable Minimum Physical Standards Measurements required and detailed selection process is given below. Minimum Height and Weight measurement requirement, marks distribution / allotment and efficiency tests (run /race) is also given below. Odisha State Police department will conduct the physical measurement (PST / PMT) test and then those who will qualify the exam will be allowed to appear in the next step that is Odisha Police Constable Physical Eligibility Criteria written exam. Cut off or qualifying marks are there in each step. Candidates must qualify in each step of the constable recruitment in Odisha Police. Vision requirement or minimum eyesight requirement is given on the official advertisement. Only male candidates will be recruited in the Specialized India reserve battalion (9^th SIRB). Minimum Physical Requirement of Odisha Police Constable:

Sportspersons will be given special relaxation in condition.
Physically disabled (PH) candidates are not eligible for the constable post in 9^th IRB Odisha (specialized).

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)­ & Marks Distribution:

Running / race – 1.6 KM within 6.30 Minutes.
High jump (3 chances) – 1.22 Meters.
Broad Jump – minimum 3.66 Meters.
Rope Climbing.
Swimming.
Cross Country (5 KM) within 25 minutes.

Driving test will be done for those who knows driving. 5 marks has been allotted to them for those who possess license.
For Educational Achievements 5 marks has been allotted.
Marks for sports achievements is also there.

Written Test and Syllabus:

Those who will clear the PMT and PET exam (physical process) will qualify for the written exam. Exam will be for 25 marks. Oriya language, English language, arithmetic, general knowledge, reasoning, aptitude questions will be asked.
Those candidates who can go 5 km in 25 minutes, will have 10 number and get permission for the next step.
