Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment in Dept of Posts, Tamilnadu Circle
Indian Postal Department under Govt of India notified in their Notification No. REP/83-1/ DR/2024 on 29-02-2024 that around 127 Multi Tasking Staffs will be recruited by them in Tamilnadu Circle. The recruited MTS will be posted at different administrative and subordinate offices in Tamilnadu Postal Region.

Important Dates of Recruitment :
Starting of online application form fill up – 01-03-2024.
Last date for online application receipt – 27-03-2024.
Last date of fee payment in post offices – 30-03-2024.
Educational Qualification Required :
Candidates should possess 10th Class / Matriculation Certificate for applying to the post.
Salary Structure :
MTS on recruitment will be paid in pay scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay Rs 1,800 & 1,900.
Age Limit :
Lower Limit = 18 years
Upper Limit = 25 years
Age relaxation will be applicable for the SC/ST/PwD and Ex-servicemen.
Exam Fee :
For General Candidates – Rs 500.
For SC/ST/Female Candidates – Rs 100.
Selection Process:
The selection will be done through written test.
Written test will consist of 100 marks. The test will be basically aptitude paper which will consist of 100 MCQs. The syllabus for the written test of MTS is as follows –
- General Knowledge – 25 .
- Mathematics – 25.
- General English – 25.
- Tamil Language – 25.
The written exam will be of 2 hours.
