MPSC Engineer, assistant, stenographer, clerk, lecturer Vacancy 2024 – Meghalaya PSC Recruitment
MPSC or Meghalaya PSC has released vacancy for teaching & non-teaching post for the year 2024. The official advertisement no which notified about the Meghalaya PSC Recruitment details is MPSC/ADVT-38/1/20172022/1 Dated 26-04-2024. Various vacancy like junior engineer, lower division assistant, clerk, typist, stenographer are there for filling up 375 posts around the state of Meghalaya.
Details of the post and vacancy:
375 vacant posts will be filled up by MPSC (Meghalaya PSC) in various teaching and non-teaching posts. Some important posts, their respective vacancy and education qualification required against each post are given below –
- Junior Engineer Grade I Civil – 84 posts,
Eligibility – Diploma in Civil Engineering (3 years).
Salary Structure – The diploma engineers will get payment in scale of Rs 14,100 – 27,510.
- Lower Division assistants (LDC/ LDA) – 120 posts,
Eligibility – 12th or HSLC pass candidates can apply for the post.
Salary Structure – The scale of pay will be Rs 9,900 – 19,370.
- Stenographer Grade III in Meghalaya Secretariat – 21 posts,
Eligibility – Candidates should possess Graduation Degree in any subject.
Salary – Rs 11,300 – 22000 per month with other allowances.
- Assistant Lecturer post in Govt Higher Secondary Schools – 20 posts in English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Eligibility – Master degree is required in each relevant subject. B.Ed degree is also must for applying to the post of lecturer.
Pay scale – Rs 15,700 – 30,610.
- Typist in Heads and Secretariat Dept – 36 posts.
Salary Structure – The recruited typist staffs will get payment in the scale of Rs 8,300 – 16,270.
Eligibility – HSLC/ SSLC pass is the minimum eligibility criteria for this typist post.

Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 27 years.

Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Written test (preliminary / main) and personal interview will be carried out for selection of candidates. MPSC can omit the written exam if they think so. For typing and stenographer posts, typing and stenography test will be conducted.
Exam Fee:
General Candidates – Rs 460/ 350/ 320 depending on the post they are applying for.
SC ST Candidates of Meghalaya – Half of the fee of General Candidates.
