Recruitment in the post of Medical Officer (MBBS) is undergoing by the department of health and family welfare in Chhattisgarh. The medical officers will be posted under the state of Chhattisgarh in various places.

Educational Qualification Required:
MBBS degree is required to apply for the post.
Salary Structure:
Pay Scale for the medical officers will be Rs 15,600 – 39,100. Their grade pay will be 5,400 Rs. Other allowances like hra, dearness allowance will also be admissible as per the state govt rule of Chhattisgarh.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 21 years.
Upper Limit = 35 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable for the reserved candidates.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern / Syllabus:
The selection process will depend on the following system –
1) Marks obtained in MBBS – More weightage will be assigned to the candidates if he / she has obtained more marks in academic qualifying exam.
They have also stated that if a candidate has done specialist degree, then he will be assigned extra marks for that qualification.
2) Work Experience – If the candidates can produce experience certificate, then he will get extra marks or weightage in the selection procedure.
