Kerala TET Exam Scheme 2024 :
Following are the steps which a candidate must go through for selection –
- Written Examination – 150 Marks (150 MCQs).
For all category of K-TET exam i.e Category 1, 2, 3 and 4, written exam of 150 marks will be conducted.
Kerala TET Syllabus of Written Test:
KTET Syllabus Category 1 Teacher Exam pattern:
- Child Development and Pedagogy (relevant to age group 6-11)
- Mathematics
- Environmental Studies
- Language I-Malayalam/ Tamil/ Kannada
- Language II- English/Arabic
KTET Syllabus 2017 Category 2 Teacher Exam pattern:
Child Development and Pedagogy (relevant to age group 11-14)
(a) For Mathematics and Science teachers: Mathematics and Science or (b) For Social Science teachers: Social Science or (c) For any other teachers (a) or (b)
Language I-Malayalam/Tamil/Kannada/English
Language II-(Other than Language I) Malayalam/English
The Written test will be of objective type. MCQ Questions will be asked and OMR sheets will be provided for answering. 1 mark will be there for each question. In each paper 150 MCQs will be asked and 150 will be the full marks. Negative marking is also there for each wrong answer. Duration of the Kerala teacher eligibility test is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
KTET 2024 Final Selection / merit list preparation:
Final selection / shortlisting will be based on marks obtained in the written exam. Rank will be provided to candidates those who will qualify the exam. Merit list will be prepared based on score.
