Kerala Police Constable Physical Eligibility Criteria Syllabus 2024 PET PST Standard Minimum Requirement: Kerala Public Service Commission has invited online application from the H.S pass male candidates for the post of Civil Police Officer or Police Constable in Armed Police Battalion of Kerala. The female candidates can not apply for this post. Kerala Police Constable Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility criteria of Kerala Public Service Commission for the post of Civil Police Officer or Police Constable in Armed Police Battalion 2024-25: The candidates wishing to apply for the post of Civil Police Officer or Police Constable in Armed Police Battalion of Kerala must pass Higher Secondary Examination / 10+2 standard from any recognised board or equivalent. It is obligatory from the end of the candidates to match up with the Physical Standard set by the Kerala Public Service Commission. Thus, the candidates are suggested to check their physical standard and then apply for the post.

Kerala Police Constable Physical Standard Requirement:

Category Wise Physical Standard sought by Kerala Public Service Commission for the post of Civil Police Officer or Police Constable in Kerala Police 2024-25: The candidates must possess the following Physical Standard otherwise it will lead in the rejection of the candidates for appearing into further level of selection process. The details of Physical Standard according to the category is –
General / UR / OC :
Height :168 cms (minimum)
Chest : 81 cms without expansion. Minimum 5 cms is needed to be expanded.
SC / ST :
Height : 160 cms (minimum)
Chest : 76 cms without expansion. Minimum 5 cms is needed to be expanded.
Eye Sight :
Distant Vision : Right Eye : 6/6 and Left Eye : 6/6
Near Vision : Right Eye : 0.5 and Left Eye : 0.5
The candidate must be able to detect all the colours. The colour blindness will result in the rejection.

Kerala PSC Police Constable Selection Process:

Selection process of Kerala Police recruitment for the post of Civil Police Officer/ Police Constable 2024- 2025: The Battalion wise direct recruitment of Civil Police Officer or Police Constable in Kerala Police is expected to undergo two / three stages. The steps are mentioned below :

1. Stage-1 : Physical Standard Test : The Physical Standard Test (PST) will check the Height and Chest measurement of the candidates. Apart from that the vision test of the candidates will also be done to check their eyesight. On the basis of this sieving process, the candidates will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
2. Stage-2 : Physical Efficiency Test : On this stage the male candidates have to qualify in any five events amongst 100mts run, High Jump, Long Jump, Putting the Shot, Throwing the Cricket ball, Rope Climbing, Pull up or chinning and 1500mts run etc.
