Tradesman B, Technical assistant (TA) in ISAC (ISRO) 2024 – Vacancy for ITI Diploma
Indian Space Research Organization will recruit Tradesman B, Draughtsman, Technical assistant and others consisting of total 166 vacancy. The ISRO Satellite Centre or ISAC will be mainly recruiting for the posts on behalf of ISRO. Candidates having ITI degree in relevant streams are eligible for the Tradesman and draughtsman (Mechanical, Civil) post and diploma engineers are eligible for the technical assistant posts. There are total 120 vacant seats for different trades of ITI in tradesman post like electronic mechanic, fitter, electrician etc. The ISRO ISAC Tradesman Technical Assistant Recruitment 2024 notification has been published through their advertisement no ISAC 02.2024. Following posts in ISAC will be recruited –
1) Technician (B) – 120 posts. Trade wise vacancy for the Technician Cadre is given below –
- Electric / mechanic – 57,
- Fitter – 27,
- Electrical – 14,
- AC & Refrigeration – 4,
- Electroplating – 1,
- Grinding – 3,
- Carpenter – 2,
- Diesel Mechanic – 1,
- Motor Vehicle Mechanic – 2,
- Plumber – 4,
- Turner – 3,
- Digital Photographer – 2.
2) Draughtsman (B) – 6 Posts in following trades –
- Mechanical – 5,
- Civil – 1.
3) Technical Assistant – 33 Posts in following branches –
- Mechanical – 13,
- Electronics – 18,
- Computer Science – 2.
4) Scientific Assistant – 03 Posts,
5) Library Assistant – 03 Posts,
6) Nurse B – 01 Post.

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for Technician Group B Posts –
Candidates must have passed Matric / 10th pass / SSLC / SSC and should also have ITI / NTC / NAC in relevant trades like Electronics Mechanic, Grinding, Photography, Mechanical, Fitter, Electrical etc.
For Draughtsman Group B – 10th pass and possessing ITI in Draughtsman Civil / Draughtsman Civil.
For Technical assistant – Candidates should have passed diploma in Mechanical / Electronics / Computer Engineering with first class.

Salary Structure:
Post no 1 and 2 will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,000.
Post no 3, 4, 5, 6 will get Rs 9,300 – 34,800 with grade pay of Rs 4,600. This is the basic pay band only, other allowances will be provided to their monthly salary.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Written Test and Skill Test.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 35 years.
Age relaxation will be given for the reserved category candidates.
Exam Fee:
General and OBC (Male) Candidates – Rs 250.
