Physical Requirement Written Exam Pattern Syllabus of HSSC Commando Constable Recruitment Process
Haryana Staff Selection Commission has given the recruitment or selection procedure for the Constable post in Commando wing. This post is only for male candidates. They also require some physical standards which a candidate must possess for the final selection. There will be written test or knowledge test also. Syllabus download link is also given here. Recruitment Process of HSSC Commando wing constable:
HSSC will recruit the commando constable through different steps. The details of the steps are given below. But before you proceed to the method of recruitment, please see if you possess the physical standards required for the male command post in HSSC (Haryana Police).
Minimum Physical Measurement Required:
All the candidates who are willing to apply for the constable post in HSSC, must have physical criteria for the post which is discussed below.
Minimum Height Requirement – 175 cm.
Minimum chest requirement – 83 cm with minimum expansion of 4 cm.
This is for the general category. Relaxation in height, chest will be given for the SC ST OBC candidates.
Physical Screening Test (PST):
There are 3 steps or activities in the PST which will contain 5 marks each carrying a total of 15 marks. They are –
High Jump – more than 137 cm (3 chances),
Chin up – minimum 8 times,
Race (2km Run) – Less than 7 minutes 30 seconds.
All the candidates have to qualify the PST (criteria or minimum time required has been given above) failing which will disqualify the candidates from appearing in the next step.
Knowledge Test (KT) / Written Test:
Next is Written Test or Knowledge Test (KT) which will be of 60 marks. All the candidates have to clear the minimum cut off marks of the test to qualify. Questions will be of objective type and answers have to be given in OMR sheet.
Documents Verification:
Scrutiny of documents will be carried out for the qualifying candidates to go to next level of the selection procedure.
Physical Measurement Test (PMT):
The successful candidates will go through the PMT where Height, Chest, weight and other criteria according to the Punjab Police rules will be tested. Marks distribution for the PMT has not been mentioned by Haryana SSC.
Interview cum Personality Test:
Those who will succeed in all the steps will have to appear in front of the HSSC recruitment board for interview. Final merit list will be published from the combined marks of all the exams.
There has been no mention of medical test. Most probably this will be the last step of recruitment process of the shortlisted candidates.
