The syllabus for the Prelims is given along with the syllabus of the mains exam. Both the HPPSC Range Forest Officer Syllabus is available for download in the official website of the HPPSC. The prelims examinations will be held first and then the mains will be conducted. The candidate who qualifies in the prelims will be called to appear in the mains examinations. The HPPSC Range Forest Officer Syllabus will contain the topics and the subjects which the candidates will have to cover to qualify in the examinations. The syllabus will help the student to prepare according to the question paper which will be set for the examination.

HP Forest Range Officer Exam Pattern 2024 Syllabus & Selection Process
There will be two parts of the written test which will be held separately. The first part will be the prelims. The candidates who qualify for the prelims will have to appear for the mains exam. The mains exam will select the candidate for the interview round. The prelims exam will be based on the HPPSC Range Forest Officer Syllabus qualification of the candidate whereas the mains will be same for everyone. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer.
