Village Resource Person (VRP) Vacancy in four Hooghly District Blocks
Office of the District Magistrate, Hooghly (Chinsurah) has issued recruitment notification advertisement for the posts of Village Resource Person (VRP) for 2024. The recruited VRP or Gramin Sampad Karmi in Hooghly District will be posted for the social audit. Vacancy for the VRP post is 510 including all reserved posts. Details of the post and vacancy:
VRP or Village Resource Person (Gramin Sampad Karmi) in Hooghly District for the following blocks –
Dhaniakhali, Jangiapara, Khanakul II and Polba Dadpur.
Vacancy:
Total vacancy for the VRP has been declared as 510. Vacant seats will be reserved for the SC ST OBC category candidates also. Block wise and category wise vacancy has been given on official advertisement.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for VRP – candidates who have done their Madhyamik or 10th or higher can apply for the posts. Be sure that you have done your 10th from a recognized institution.
Along with this, candidates or any of their family member must have worked for MGNREGS and they should also be the resident of the particular block.

Salary Structure:
Rs 348 Per day will be the wage of Village Resource Persons of Hooghly. They will not be given monthly salary scale. For 13 days the VRPs will work.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern:
Candidates will be recruited on the basis of Walk in interview and Reading, analytical and writing skills.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years.
Upper Limit = Office of the District Magistrate has not mentioned about the upper age limit of the candidates. So, most probably candidates with any age can apply for the VRP post.
How to Apply:
Those who are applying for the post of VRP in Hooghly, need to download the application form in Bengali. The filled up application form is to be brought on the interview date. Other documents are also required to be attached along with the form. The Hooghly district socio audit unit has said the panel will be effective for 2024 . The venue of the interview and test is Block Development Office (BDO) of particular district.
