Vacancy for Teacher under GSERB in govt secondary & HS schools through TAT
Gujarat Secondary Education Recruitment Board or (GSERB) has issued Gujarat (GSERB) Teacher Recruitment notification for assistant Teacher and old Teacher. The teachers will be posted in Govt Higher Secondary and Secondary schools. Around 7863 vacancy has been published by GSERB. They will be recruited on the basis of TAT or Teachers aptitude test (or TET sometimes). This latest teacher vacancy in Gujarat 2024 has been published on the official website of the recruiter.

Vacancy:
Total 7863 teachers will be recruited. Please see the following category wise or post wise breakup if vacancy –
1) assistant teacher in HS schools – 4397 posts,
2) Old Teacher in HS Schools – 1111 posts,
3) assistant teacher in Secondary Schools – 1927 posts,
4) Old teacher in Secondary Schools – 428 posts.
Important Dates of Gujarat (GSERB) Teacher Recruitment:
Last date of receipt of application form at their office – 30-04-2024.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for assistant teacher – Candidates must have passed TAT or Teachers aptitude test which was conducted by GSERB.
Salary Structure:
The recruited teachers will be paid in following pay scale which will depend upon the post –
Assistant Teacher – Starting scale of Rs 13,900,
Old Teacher – Rs 13,500.
Please remember that this will be the basic starting pay band of recruited staffs of GSERB. Other allowances will also be included in the teachers’ monthly salary.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years,
Upper Limit = 40 years.
Age relaxation will be given to the SC ST OBC and PwD candidates.
Selection Process:
Candidates most probably will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in TAT exam / interview.
