On the advertisement no 1/2022 of the Directorate of Fire and Emergency Services, Govt of Goa stated that recruitment will be done in Sub Officer Group C, Driver operator, Fire fighter and 1 more post. Educational Qualification Required:
Every candidate must possess certificate of HSC or 10+2 or 12^th passing exam. Moreover they must have knowledge of Konkani Language. To be eligible for the post of Driver one must have valid driving license and should also have experience in that field.
Physical Standards Required:
The candidates must have the physical measurements as prescribed by the fire department. Eyesight of prescribed standards is also required.
Salary Structure:
All the recruited fire fighters, driver and others will be paid on same pay scale of Rs 5,200 – 20,200 but their grade pay will be Rs 2,400 or 2,000 or 1,900 depending upon the post.
Age Limit:
Upper Limit = 35 years for post no 1,2 & 3 and 28 years for post no 4.
Relaxation will be given as per the Goa govt norms.
Selection Process / Exam Pattern / Syllabus:
The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of application verification and physical efficiency test. Later those will pass through both the steps, will have to face written test. The written exam will be of 100 marks where 35 marks is required to get qualified for the exam. The syllabus of the direct recruitment exam is given on their official website.
