Post 1 – 1300 posts,

Important Dates of GESCOM Junior Lineman Station Operator (JSO/ JLM) Recruitmen:

Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for JLM – applicants must possess 10^th pass certificate to apply for the post.
Eligibility for JSO – ITI is the minimum educational criteria for this post.
Salary Structure:
Monthly pay scale will be different for both the JSO and JLM. The JLM will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 7,350 – 15,710. On the other hand JLM will be paid in pay band of Rs 7,950 – 16,790. No grade pay has been mentioned by GESCOM. The recruited Lineman and Station Operators will be entitled to other perquisites and allowances from time to time.
Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 18 years.
Upper Limit = 35 years.
There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
Selection Process:
There will be screening and physical fitness test for the preliminary level.
Written Exam will be conducted next. Those who will be succeed in the written test will have to appear for Teacher aptitude test or Interview (will be decided later).
Application Fee:
Candidates must pay the exam fee which will again depend upon the post they are applying for. The fee structure is given below –
General Candidates – Rs 400 for JSO, Rs 200 for JLM,
SC ST Candidates – Rs 100 for all.
