Indian Army Field Ammunition Depot Syllabus 2024 Material Assistant Tradesman Mate LDC: 24 FAD will conduct recruitment Exam for posts advertised through 01/ 2024/ for 24 FAD (Field Assistant Depot) supervised by Indian Army. Material Assistant, Lower Division Clerk, Fireman and Tradesman Mate FAD Exam Syllabus have been given in this post along with exam pattern and written test / trades test involved in the selection process. The mode of examination is English and Hindi that is the exam will be in Bilingual.

FAD Examination Pattern 2024
Total 150 marks questions will be there to answers. It includes subjects like General Intelligence and Reasoning (25 marks), Numerical Aptitude (25 marks), General English (50 marks) and General Awareness (50 marks).
- Questions will be of objective type.
- Standard of the questions will be of matriculation/ intermediate/ graduation standard as applicable for different posts.

Indian Army FAD Selection Process 2024
- Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test (Material Assistant), Lower Division Clerk (Written and Typing Proficiency), Physical endurance test and Skill test (Fireman and Tradesman Mate).
- To qualify in the written exam, candidates have to qualify in the physical test (wherever applicable).
- Skill test (wherever applicable) will be conducted after written exam and will be qualifying in nature.
Typing proficiency
Typing proficiency for Lower Division Clerk- English typing speed @ 35 words per minute and Hindi typing speed @ 30 words per minute on computer.
Physical endurance test
For Fireman
- 1.6 km running in 6 min.
- Carrying a man of 63.5 kgs to a distance of 183 meters within 96 seconds.
- Clearing 2.7 meters wide ditch
- Climbing 3 meters vertical rope using hands and feet.
For Tradesman Mate
- 1.5 km running in 6 minutes.
- Carrying a weight of 50 kg to a distance of 200 meter in 100 seconds.
