Eastern Central Railway (ECR) 2024 recruitment – Constable (band) in Railway Protection Force (RPF)

Details Of The Post and Vacancy:
Constable (band) – 246 post. For male 221 posts and for female 25 posts will be there.

Educational Qualification Required :
Minimum 10th pass is required. Also experience of minimum 2 years in specified musical instrument is required.
Salary Structure :
Constables will be paid on the pay scale of Rs 5,300 – 20,200 with grade pay of Rs 2,000.
Age Limit :
Lower Limit = 18 years.
Upper Limit = 25 years.
Age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ST candidates.
Exam Fee :
General Candidates – Rs 50.
SC/ST/ Female candidates – Nil.
Selection Process / Exam Patter / Syllabus :
Candidates have to go through written exam followed by PET and PMT. Written Test will be based on Multiple Choice Questions. Qualified candidates need to appear for Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test. A trade test will also be conducted to see the expertise in specified instruments. Successful Candidates will undergo medical exam and then joining letter will be issued to them.
