Educational Qualification / Eligibility:
Candidates must have qualified Bachelor Degree and obtained first class in Engineering and Technology in Electronics & Communication Engg, Mechanical Engg, Computer Sciences & Engg, Electrical Engg, Aeronautical Engg, Chemical Engg, Instrumental Engg, Automobile Engg, Ceramic Engg Or DRDO Direct recruitment must have obtained first class Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Polymer Science, Geology, Atmospheric Science, Material Science, Psychology and Physical Oceanology from any renowned institution or University.

Monthly Salary:
Candidates will be offered approximately 80,000 per month.

10 years will be adjustable for PWD candidates.5 years for Central Government Job holder. Upper age limit will only be relaxable for Ex-servicemen.
Other Information:
- Candidates must be Indian citizen.
- Desirable candidates must have knowledge of German, French, Russian, Japanese or Chinese language.
- Male candidates belonging from general and OBC category will required to pay a non- refundable Application charge of Rupees 100. Application charge will be exempted for SC/ ST/ PWD and women candidates.
- Selected candidates for Scientist ‘B’ DRDO may undergo Post Induction Training at DIAT Pune / ITM Mussoorie.
- Admit card or call letter must be downloaded before the examination.

Exam Fee :
For general and OBC Candidates – Rs 100
For SC / ST candidates – Nil.
Selection Procedure:
Selected candidates will have to appear interview session. For subject part I candidates will be selected on the basis of merit of aggregate 80% score depend on GATE 20% on interview session. For subject part II Written examination can be took place then 80% will be based on written test and 20% on interview.
