Eligibility criteria of Chhattisgarh Police recruitment procedure for various posts 2024:
The candidates should pass secondary examination or 10th level or 10+2 level / Higher Secondary from the board of Chhattisgarh state. It is mandatory for the candidates to meet the Physical Standard set by the the recruitment authority of Chhattisgarh Police.
Category and gender wise Physical Standard for the various posts of Chhattisgarh Police 2024 :
General / SC / OBC:
- Height :168 cms for Male and 158 cms for Female
- Chest : 81 cms without expansion and 86 cms with expansion (Only Male)
ST:
- Height :158 cms for Male and 158 cms for Female
- Chest : 76 cms without expansion and 81 cms with expansion (Only Male)
ST residents of Surguja Division
- Height :153 cms for Male and 153 cms for Female
- Chest : 76 cms without expansion and 81 cms with expansion (Only Male)
General, SC, OBC residents of Bastar Division:
- Height :163 cms for Male and 153 cms for Female
- Chest : 79 cms without expansion and 84 cms with expansion (Only Male)
ST residents of Bastar Division:
- Height :150 cms for Male and 148 cms for Female
- Chest : 74 cms without expansion and 79 cms with expansion (Only Male)
Eye Sight Requirement:
The candidates must possess the vision of 6/9 of one eye without spectacles and 6/12 atleast on the other eye without using spectacles / lenses. The candidate must not be colour blind.
This is to be noted in this regard that the candidates without possessing the above Physical Standards will be rejected from the method of selection in Chhattisgarh Police.
Selection process of Chhattisgarh Police Constable Recruitment 2024:
The selection for the posts of G.D, Driver, Mochi / Cobbler, Dhobi / Washerman, Cook, Nai / Barber, Carpenter, Water Carrier, Electrician, Sweeper, Mason, D.R, Khalasi, Tailor and Plumber will have 4 stages.
- Stage-1 : Physical Standard Test : The Physical Standard Test (PST) and the Verification of Documents will be done and candidates will get shortlisted for the next stage.
- Stage-2 : Physical Efficiency Test : On this stage the male candidates have to run 1500mts and Women candidates 800mts within a specified time limit. The candidates being successful in this test will get selected for the Written Test.
- Stage-3 : Written Test : Candidates qualified in the CG Police Constable Physical Efficiency Test (PET), will have to appear on Written Test.
- Stage-4 : Trade Test : The Trade test will be conducted at the end and bear 25 marks. It will be different for each trade.

Chhattisgarh Police Constable (GD) and Tradesman recruitment exam for 2976 posts will be held soon. We have given detailed physical eligibility criteria, measurement standards required and efficiency test. We have discussed the detailed process of recruitment of Police Constable (GD) and Tradesman. All the steps required to pass in the constable exam in 2024 is given below. After the documents verification is cleared, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) or Physical Standards Test (PST) will b conducted. Later, the physical efficiency test (PET) will be conducted. 04 IRBN Chhattisgarh Armed Force (CAF) will recruit constable in 2024. Those who will clear the physical measurement test or standards test (PST) or PMT will be qualified to appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). There is no marking system or marks allotted to the PST test.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) marks distribution:
PET will be held for those who qualify the PST. There are some physical exercises or tasks or events those need to be performed by the candidates. They are given below –
For male constable post:
400 meter race / run
1500 meter race / run
5 km run / race
For female candidates / lady constable posts:
400 meter run / race
800 meter race / run
3 km run / race.
Minimum time required to complete the running and marking system is given below –
Qualifying marks in the PET exam for the General candidates is 75 marks and for SC ST OBC candidates is 60 marks. This is the cut off marks for the PET.
