CBSE UGC NET 2017 Notification Application Form: The CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDERY EDUCATION has announced recruitment notification for assistant professor & junior research fellowship in 2024. There are total collective numbers of vacancies. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:
Assistant professor:
For this post the candidates who have passed the UGC/CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are also exempted from appearing in NET. And NET/SET will be governed by UGC regulation and amendments notified in the gazette of India from time to time. The candidates who have clear SET and exempted being appearing from NET, being eligible for apply.
Junior research fellowship:
Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks in master degree or equivalent examination by under any UGC recognize university are applicable. And students of final year in M.A are also applicable.
AGE LIMIT:
There is no upper age limit for assistant professor. And 28 years as on 1.11.2024 for junior research fellowship. 5 years age Relaxation for OBC/PWD/SC/ST applicants.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
Selection procedure will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. And the test will consist of three papers. All three papers will consist of only objective type question.
Paper – 1, 100 marks, 50 questions (9.30am to 10.45 am)
Paper – 2, 100 marks, 50 questions (11.15am to 12.30 pm)
Paper – 3, 150 marks, 50 questions (2 pm to 4.30 pm)
EXAMINATION FEE:
Examination fee for general Rs,1000 and Rs,500 for other backward classes.
Examination fee is paid through online mode on website: www.ncbc.nic.in

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:
- The candidates must read the condition of eligibility
- Submission of online application is mandatory
- All incomplete application from will be rejected
- Candidates are not allowed to carry any type of pen/ pencil / watch in the examination hall/room
- A candidate does not appear paper 1, will not permitted to appear in paper 2 or 3
- There are no negative marks of incorrect answers
- The marks of all the candidates will be uploaded on CBSC website
MINIMUM MARKS TO OBTAINED:
40% for General in all three papers taken together and 35% for backward classes.
