Diploma ITI B.tech Engineer Vacancy in BMRC 2024
Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) or namma metro is going to recruit B.tech Engineer, Diploma and ITI candidates in 2024. Around 308 vacancy for Maintainer, Train operator and section engineer has been notified on their official BMRC Recruitment advertisement. Post wise vacancy in BMRCL is given below –
Maintainer – 72 posts,
Train Operator – 225 posts,
Section Engineer – 11 posts.
Vacancy will be reserved for the Residual Parent cadre and Local cadre (candidates from Hyderabad & Karnataka region). Vacancy will also be reserved for SC ST OBC, Rural, Project Displaced persons also. Please see the official advertisement for the category wise vacancy break up list.
Educational Qualification Required:
Eligibility for BMRCL Posts –
For Maintainer – Candidates must have done matriculation or 10th and should also possess 2 years ITI in relevant trades like Electrician, Mechanic, Electronics mechanic etc. There are other trades also. Please see the detailed trades from the official notification.
For Train Operator – Candidates must have done 3 years diploma in Electrical engineering, electronics engineering, telecommunication and mechanical and relevant engineering discipline.
For Section Engineer – Engineering (B.tech or B.E) in electronics and communication engineering (ECE), electrical, computer, mechanical, civil and other relevant engineering subjects.

Salary Structure:
Staffs in Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited will be given monthly salary as per their posts. They are discussed below –
For Maintainer – basic pay scale of Rs 10,170 – 18,500.
For Train Operator – Rs 14,000 – 26,950 will be their monthly pay band.
For Section Engineer – Basic salary scale is 16,000 – 30,770. Other allowances will also be given with their monthly salary.

Age Limit:
Lower Limit = There is no lower limit for the posts mentioned in BMRC.
Upper Limit = 35 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit will be given to the reserved category candidates and ex-serviceman also. Age will be calculated as on 11-07-2023.
