Assam Forest Department Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification Requirement
Eligibility for Forest Guard posts – Minimum Educational Qualification for Forest Guard Posts is 10+2 or Higher Secondary Pass. Applicants should have minimum physical requirement (height, weight, chest, eye) for applying to the posts of Forest Guard (physical standards for male and female candidates are different). Assam Forest Guard Salary 2023
Recruited Forest Guards will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 14000-60500 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5600. Other allowances will be included in their monthly salary. Total Salary will be Rs 25,000 Approximately after joining.

Assam Forest Department Vacancy 2023 Age Limit:
- Lower Limit = 21 Years for Stenographer Grade 3 & Forster I Posts and 18 years for Others.
- Upper Limit = 38 Years.
Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of Assam Forest department. Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2023.
Assam Forest Department Recruitment Process:
Assam Forest Guard Recruitment 2023 process will include written examination, physical fitness test / computer eligibility test + typing test (depending of posts). Syllabus for the written exam can be downloaded from the link given below. Physical fitness test for Forest guards will comprise of 26 Kms. (for male) and 16 Kms. (for female) of walking to be covered within 4 hours followed by medical test.
