Stenographer, Personal assistant post vacancy in High Court of Calcutta – appellate side

On 15th April 2016, Calcutta High Court has made a circular of Recruitment Notice through their advertisement no 1317 – RG. The notification stated that around 32 stenographer and personal assistant is going to be recruited in appellate side of the Honorable High Court. Though the number of vacancy is expected and existing, final number will be known during the time of induction. If you are willing to apply, just go through the following information which has been taken from the official advertisement. Vacancy will be reserved for meritorious sportsperson and persons with disability.

Last date for application receipt – 06-05-2016.

Educational Qualification Required:

Eligibility for Steno – 12th or Higher secondary pass candidates are eligible to apply.

Essential qualification for the post is that candidates must know shorthand speed of 120 words per minute and typing speed of 30 words per minute.

Salary Structure:

Recruited Stenographers will be paid in the pay scale of Rs 7,100 – 37,600 with grade pay of Rs 3,600.

Age Limit:

Lower Limit = 18 years.

Upper Limit = 32 years for General Candidates.

There will be age relaxation for reserved category persons.

Selection Process:

Only shorthand test will be done for the selection. In preliminary level, screening will be done on shorthand test. Later the successful candidates will have to appear for typing test through computer.

Application Fee:

General Category – Rs 400.

SC ST OBC – Rs 100.

Indian Postal Order of above mentioned amounts are to be purchased and should be sent along with the application.

Application form fill up method is offline. Every willing candidate has to type or write in his / her own hand the application form very neatly. The High Court has given some particulars which you have to mention in the application form during writing it in legal size plain paper.
