Exam Pattern of Assistant Review Officer Recruitment Test 2023
Each candidate must be aware of the UKPSC ARO Exam Pattern 2023. Selection process will consist of 3 steps. Each step and their syllabus are given below along with the UKPSC Asst RO Exam Pattern for the current year –
UKPSC ARO Preliminary Exam Syllabus (General awareness)
The Pre exam will be of objective type in nature where MCQ type question will be asked. You have to answer 150 questions for which 2 hours will be given. Each question will carry 1 mark and for wrong marking 1/3 marks will be deducted. Following are the 8 topics from which questions for prelims exam will be asked –
- Science.
- Indian History and INM,
- Geography (India & World),
- Aptitude questions,
- Indian Economics
- Computer Knowledge,
- Population, Environment and Urbanization.
- Current affairs.

UKPSC ARO RO Mains Exam Pattern 2023
Main exam will be held in 3 parts which are –
- Paper I (100 marks) – Question from General Studies, which will be objective type in nature.
- Paper II (100 marks) – Hindi Composition. Here the knowledge of Hindi of candidates will be tested.
- Paper III (100 marks) – Essay Writing. Writing skills will be judged through this step.
Computer Test (practical) – Computer typing test and knowledge of basic computer operation & MS Office will be tested. This will be qualifying test. A candidate must secure the minimum marks as decided by UKPSC to get selected in the exam.
