Lok Sabha Secretariat Junior Clerk syllabus for written test preliminary & mains exam 2017 has been discussed below. Candidates can download the written test syllabus for the Junior Clerk (JC) recruitment test in Parliament of India. For this, candidates must have passed graduation in any stream. Typing speed is also required having prescribed wpm. For this year 2017, 31 vacant posts are there for recruitment. They will be recruited from different streams like, English and Hindi / Bilingual. Each candidate should follow the syllabus of the written test of preliminary and mains exam and should refer to the subject mentioned in the exam pattern of each part of the preliminary and mains exam. The syllabus has been divided in two parts, one for preliminary exam and second for mains exam. Marks distribution has also been covered.
JC Preliminary Exam Syllabus:
Below is the preliminary exam pattern of LokSabha Secretariat Junior Clerk (JC) preliminary exam –
Part A – General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 50 marks (50 MCQ)
Part B – General English – 50 marks (50 MCQ)

Main Exam Syllabus and Pattern:
Paper 1 – Essay Letter and Grammar – 100 marks
Paper 2 – Typing test at 40 wpm in English / Hind – 100 marks.
Marks distribution of paper 1 –
Essay (50 Marks)
Letter (35 Marks)
Grammar (15 Marks).
Mains Exam will be descriptive in nature whereas the prelims written test / online test will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) based and objective questions will be asked.
Lok Sabha Secretariat Junior Clerk Exam Pattern:
Each question will carry one mark. Candidates have to appear on the exam hall as mentioned in their admission cards. There may be screening test for those who have applied to the post. After the initial screening of the Junior Clerk recruitment in Parliament of India 2017, shortlisted candidates will be called for written test. Those who will clear the prelims test will be able to appear in the mains exam. Mains exam will be of descriptive pattern.
Parliament JC Selection Process:
Selection Process will consist of shortlisting candidates for Preliminary Exam, mains exam / typing test. selection will be made on the basis of marks obtained in Papers-I and II.
